nobody will even care

no here’s the thing
public school is connected to the government. for one person to walk out individually, that’s only one missed class. but when everyone walks out, it’s a huge load of paperwork for the school, and therefore the government, to deal with
it gets people’s attention and makes them aware of the cause

if people are aware of the cause what would they do though

offer better mental health resources
make it harder to get assault weapons like AR-15s
thorough background checks on those who are going to buy guns
needing a license to buy one
safety training
schools being more aware of how their actions may affect someone else mentally

isn’t it already hard to get assault rifles & shit like that
all this stuff is just making gun owners have ridiculous restrictions
especially in California
the laws there make no sense

I’m not defending gun violence, I’m just saying that it’s impossible to stop in a country where guns are culture and civilians can own them
No matter how hard they make it to obtain a firearm, people will find a way

it’s not that hard to get a firearm in texas, and the restrictions on ownership, licensing, and storage clearly aren’t good enough. just take a look at all the deaths by gun violence
