My bet: MAGA finds ways to exonerate their idol and throw Santos under the bus. (Couldn't happen to a nicer guy, but still underlines the cultiness).

Santos holds a lot of negative baggage with MAGA. Pretty certain he's going down as collateral damage

Trump nailed it when he made that "shoot someone on 5th Ave" prediction. He's their MAGA Jim Jones. Nothing can touch him, with one exception, he can't cheat death.
