Yes, I figured someone would make that argument. I would have said the same thing in the past. As I got older, I realized that if truly important news is to be known, I will hear about it anyway, because people talk about stuff. Then when I feel like I need information about it (or info about anything I'm interested in,) I simply look it up and research on my own. Learning and forming opinions this way is so much better- in my opinion 🙂

Very good philosophy here #respect :) But personally I do read the news online, because I feel the need to keep updated about the world's events. As someone who reads up on the history of political factions and countries, I have found often that I need to keep updated about what they are doing now in order to form updated opinions about them (Since so many of them did horrible things in the past i can't find anyone to support nowadays lol). But my kind of research involves a lot of books as well rather than the internet!

I think what I'm saying is that i am also someone who believes that WWIII is going to happen very soon, im my lifetime maybe, and this way I can simulate the whole war, like battles, different sides, and stuff like that, so I can better prepare for it and get out of the way of some falling nuke or at least know where it's coming from so I can curse whoever sent it lol
