There are thousands of “quality” games you can buy for <$20. Even on PlayStation. Whether the games are older, they’re on sale, or even if you buy them used at a game store.

But anyway, this is fantastic news because that just defeats the narrative of “this raise in price is inevitable” as both Sony and Microsoft have been regurgitating the past few years.

For the record, $70 for a video game is NOT cheap.

it is mostly because of quality, teenagers dont mind dropping 70 on call of duty or something. The problem is the game being unfinished on release and having bugs making it essentially a beta until the next title comes out

Whenever I make my game, even though it’s gonna be huge it’s only gonna be like 10$
