i broke my headphones a few weeks ago, and today i went to the store thinking i was about to replace them, but couldn't find the ones i had before. so i settled for some other ones of the same brand.
BUT when i got home and compared them to my previous ones, guess what? the new ones have the exact part i needed to replace! you can easily guess what i did.
i spent the next half hour carefully taking the new ones apart, and managed to frankenstein my old headphones back together.
i have also reinforced the part that broke with zip ties, just to be safe.
and yes, i still have the "new" headphones, but i'm likely not gonna use them any time soon.
