Just a suggestion, but do some research on stuff you would like to do for a living, and see what options are out there. For a lot of STEM-related stuff or becoming a university professor you pretty much have to go to college for it.
But stay smart about it; if you cannot afford it, don't go. It's probably best to check out local community schools as many are focused on getting you decent paying jobs in the community for a lower cost than a 4-year university. (Obviously.)
Otherwise, consider finding good-paying jobs that DON'T require a degree (which, depending on your field of study, is just an expensive-behind piece of fancy paper) and start networking! This can also be a combination of different side gigs that can help boost you to financial coverage or passive income.
Here's a vid if you need a bit of help if you still want to go to school: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wppXDp3oD54
Good luck!
