Tradesmen would like a word with you, most of whom are making far more than many people with degrees.

I am not going to college, it takes too much time and money. When I am 18 I am going to work for Entergy as a lineman with my dad. At Entergy the longer you work, the more you make. Six years of experience gives you a good pay check. By the time I am 30 I can be making 170 k a year, without worrying about the economy since electricity is a necessity, and that is without overtime.

Just a suggestion, but do some research on stuff you would like to do for a living, and see what options are out there. For a lot of STEM-related stuff or becoming a university professor you pretty much have to go to college for it.

But stay smart about it; if you cannot afford it, don't go. It's probably best to check out local community schools as many are focused on getting you decent paying jobs in the community for a lower cost than a 4-year university. (Obviously.)

Otherwise, consider finding good-paying jobs that DON'T require a degree (which, depending on your field of study, is just an expensive-behind piece of fancy paper) and start networking! This can also be a combination of different side gigs that can help boost you to financial coverage or passive income.

Here's a vid if you need a bit of help if you still want to go to school: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wppXDp3oD54

Good luck!
