Dear Imgflip users, There is something very vital I want to share with you.
But first, I want to ask you something:; Do you think that you are a good person? Here's a quick quiz to see if that's true. Just be honest with yourself. 1: "Then God spoke all these words: 'I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the place of slavery. Do not have other gods besides me.' Is there anything in your life that you've placed as more important to you than God? 2: "Do not make an idol for yourself, whether in the shape of anything in the heavens above or on the earth below or in the waters under the earth. Do not bow in worship to them, and do not serve them." Have you ever tried to justify something by thinking, "God would understand," or "He's okay with it." If so, you've made a false god for yourself, one that you're comfortable with. 3: "Do not misuse the name of the Lord your God, because the Lord will not leave anyone unpunished who misuses his name." Have you ever said "OMG" or used the Name of Jesus Christ in conjunction with a curse word? If so, that's actually a serious sin called blasphemy. 4: "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy." Have you ever done something rude while in church? 5: "Honor your father and mother." Have you ever disobeyed something your parents said? 6: "Do not murder." Jesus said that if you hate someone in your heart, you've already committed murder. Have you ever told someone that you hate them? 7: "Do not commit adultery." Jesus also said that if you look upon someone of the opposite gender with lust, you have already committed adultery with him or her in your heart. Have you ever looked upon someone with lust? Or, on that note, have you allowed homosexual thoughts into your mind? 8: "Do not steal." Have you ever stolen something, even if it was small? 9: "Do not give false testimony." Have you ever lied? (Whether it was a big lie or a small one, God says that lying lips are detestable to him); 10: "Do not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor." Have you ever been really jealous of something someone had? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions (and I can guarantee that you did), then in God's eyes, you are guilty of sin and, once you die, you'll be sentenced to an eternity in Hell. But...
There is Good News. 2,000 years ago, God sent his only Son, Jesus Christ, down to earth. During his life, Jesus never sinned at all, and was perfect in everything he did. He was executed on a cross, where he died to pay our sins. And then, to prove he was the Son of God and that he had conquered death forever, he rose up from the tomb, and now he offers salvation to anyone who comes to him in faith. "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord." We're no longer under the law, but under the grace of Jesus. God now allows us into Heaven, only through His Son Jesus. Think of it this way:
We broke the law. (the Ten Commandments, which we just looked at)
Our sin is a fine that we must pay to God, the Judge.
But Jesus, through His Blood, paid our fine, so we can be saved from punishment. I do want to say something important: following Jesus won't be easy. In this world, you will have trouble. But Jesus said, "take heart! For I have overcome the world!" I definitely think that Heaven will be worth the pain of earth. So what do you think? Will you repent of your sins, ask Jesus for forgiveness, and trust in Him as your Lord and Savior?
If so, you are now a Christian! REPOST SO OTHERS CAN HEAR THE GOOD NEWS!
