All of corporate media distorts the truth in some form or another at the behest of their shareholders. CNN can certainly be deceitful in that regard, but no more so than any other mainstream American news outlet. However CNN and MSNBC aren't the ones currently dealing with multiple billion dollar defamation lawsuits after consciously lying to their audience about the legitimacy of the 2020 election.
They are also not the ones who allowed their most popular host to drip feed literal nazi ideology into your grandparents minds until it became too financially liable to the company for him to do so.
