They're Japanese magatamas. Yunobo most likely has one, Riju, Sidon, and Tulin each have one, Ganondorf has one, Zelda has one, and Link will probably get the last one.

I think that the original champians had them and passed them down to sidon, riju, yunobu, tulin. I think zelda and ganon had them and so does link but they will give sertain powers that link has to collect from the reajon commaders. Making link have to defete ganon to get the last tear.
