A new species I invented. Details in the comments.

Versehounds are a canine species that are about the size of your typical husky. Apart from the horns, they look similar to a normal dog. But they actually have several unique adaptations:
1 - Versehounds can easily travel back and forth between alternate universes, meaning they can track their quarry no matter where they go.
2 - they have an incredibly heightened sense of smell, so sharp that they can even smell color and shape, which basically means that they use smell similar to how bats or whales use echolocation.
3 - they have the ability to change the color of their fur, either to camouflage, express their mood, or just to show off a cool pattern.
4 - and lastly, Versehounds are very loyal companions, but very terrifying enemies.
