sonic movie:
wade: wade was a minor character not important to the plot, but in the spinoff show he will be more of a prominent character and probably get development judging by the sypnosis, where knuckles teaches him to be a warrior, which makes sense as he was scared and pushed around by eggman and stone. he probably will undergo much CD (character development). he also has helped in minor ways, so he does have some bravery, he just has trouble using it and showing it.

stone:
he revered eggman a lot, but before he couldn't do anything on his own
in the prequel comic, it's explained that he was hopeful and loyal and so he got hired at a coffee shop and was treated horribly but he kept a cool facade and ignored it. he killed off the other workers and took over, waiting for the doctor to return while running things.
also the name is a reference to robotniks mean bean machine lol
he never forgot eggman or lost hope
before he was pushed around, but he still admired eggman so much he put up with it. he also can concoct his own genius plans and has a lot of mental prowess as well. by the second movie though, he's less 'afraid' to question eggman's plans than he was before, likely because he grew and became stronger independently, whereas before he couldn't even live without eggman. he still is highly dependent on robtonik, but he's more of his own person now.

gun commander:
fun fact the GUN commander is the same as in shadow the hedgehog 2005, and that might explain why he's against snonic and tails cuz they remind him of shadow (in the game, the commander sees shadow being made and gets traumatized as a kid and doesn't trust him because he saw shadow being created with alien blood) although, if GUN was only formed after sonic came, it makes it confusing as shadow was trapped by GUN before the sonic movie events. idk, this will probably clear up in the 3rd movie.

eggman:
in the first, he was an egotistical sadistic genius, that loved to take use of people and machines to get what he wants. he thinks he is superior but his superior complex led to his downfall. (tbc)
