DEATHWISH - Luna

2 Alive - I really liked the guitar in this song. It felt very similar to the riff in Under the Bridge by RHCP. There was a sense of it climbing one step, and falling two over and over again. Overall, the riff told a story that a songwriter would be hard-put to replicate. However, Luna's voice is extremely breathy and fake sounding. He constantly sounded like he was whining. And the lyrics of the song are very basic and overall, didn't say much. Rating: 4/10

Escape You - The riff in this song was okay, but really just kind of background static. But the background vocals were on point. They sounded like lo fi, but more organic. The singing was great, and the lyrics really gave off a fantastic vibe. Rating: 7/10

Broken Promises - The riff was almost the exact same as 2 Alive. I feel like Luna really could have done better there. The lyrics were, to put it quite frankly, garbage. They sounded like something a 12-year-old boy with a vague understanding of how the world works would write. Also, Luna was very heavy-handed with the expletives, even when they weren't necessary. This made it seem very much like an attention-grab. Rating: 4/10

Get Cake - This riff again? With this trap beat? If Luna had gone back to the drums from Escape You, it would be much easier listening. Also, for a barely known artist, he sure talks a lot about being famous. I get fans every day? I am not a huge fan of this. It felt a little cheesy, but the vocals were a high point. Rating 5/10

Stay Away: Annoyingly similar to Escape You. But it had a great vibe, great guitar, great lyrics, great vocals, great baseline. Overall great. Rating: 7/10
Waste My Life - Once again, the same guitar. Luna should not be recycling this much. The lyrics were actually pretty different though. A lot of songs give the same old same old sad in their lyrics, but this song had something to it. And the slide baseline was beautiful. I would give a lot to have written it. It is unique enough to take notes on. Overall good. Rating 5/10

Butterfly - Mid. Completely forgettable. So mid I didn't even go back to check if it has anything new. All I know is the worst thing a song can be is mid, and this music is an exemplary class in mid. And for our sake, Luna, stop using that same guitar lick. It was good once, but not five times. Rating: 5/10

Personal - I'm done with this guitar riff. But this song was a high point in the album. I really like the way Luna blended the music and the lyrics. The lyrics per se were very pleasant, and quite genuine I'm sure. Rating: 6/10

Thief in the Night - This is the Emoji Movie of songs. It is the most basic white girl, cringe, cheesy thing I have heard in my life. This is the kind of song that makes me lose faith in humanity. Please Luna, never make a rap song again. This was so God-awful, atrocious, and self-contradictory that I would pass on the whole album to avoid it. Rating: 1/10

I can agree with this

Strung Out - This song is gas. If I hear that guitar again I will die. But the song had nice lyrics and a good blend of meaning and lines. That line "I'll just write more songs" is golden. That is exactly what good musicians do. Instead of being sad, they write songs about it. The whole track just gave a sad vibe. Not breakup sad, not school sad, just universally sad, and I can appreciate that. Rating: 6/10

Overall it feels like Luna found a nice guitar riff and tried to write an album around it despite having no songwriting ability and a mid voice. Sadly, the album is forgettable. Final rating: 4/10
