i wouldn’t say we hate them we might just be jealous of them a bit
but many left wing politicians seem to be telling folks that people simply having a bunch of money is robbery. I forget exactly the words but I recently saw something where Obama was basically saying that they wouldn’t allow people like this specific rich guy to rob others by keeping his own $1 million.
the rich are how countries have a higher income per capita. anytime people start trying to control who gets how much money, everyone’s average dips. Some poor people may benefit, but not as much as people may suggest, especially since politicians will horde some of that money for themselves.
i’m not saying republicans aren’t guilty of this, tbh both parties are extremely corrupt and bought out by people who don’t have the people’s best interests, but neither party can really back out because these people fund their election campaigns and are extremely influential behind the scenes, so if one party pulled out, the other would dominate all elections. Which is sad. might be why independents aren’t really popular atm
