I agree with you. Yes, the level of damage varies depending on the weapon. I also understand where people are coming from when they say that gun violence is an issue in this country. Which it is, and I agree with anyone who says that it is. But you have to understand that it's not the fault of innocent Americans, or guns, when an evil person with the intention of hurting or killing others uses a gun wrongly. This is not an issue of guns, but rather the people who use them in the wrong way. Guns, or any weapon, should only be used in a defensive or recreational way, at least in my opinion. What is going on in this country is terrible, and I hate seeing mass shootings and murders in the news. What I'm saying is that evil people will still find a way to be evil, gun or not. Innocent people still need to have a way to defend themselves when under attack at home, work, school, church, or just in public. Also, I genuinely appreciate you being civil in your comment. People with different political opinions nowadays don't often do that (especially in my experience) and it's refreshing to have, so thank you.
