It isn't "gender reassignment care," it's child mutilation. Children do not have the capacity to make life altering decisions.

parents talk their children out of many things as they grow and mature, usually with the encouragement to wait until they are older or become an adult. why should this be any different?

I'm not trans so this is not from experience but I've heard it from pretty much every trans person. but getting gender reassignment surgery is hard. you have to have notes from multiple therapists, a lot of money, and if you're at the point of getting it you definitely know it's the right thing for you, and no child is getting it.
And studies show that yes! people are happier if they get gender reassignment surgery and have better mental health when they're parents support them. detransitioning is not a common thing (Research says the rate of detransitioners is >1% to 8%) and at that most of them detransition because of either social stigmas or being nonbinary.
and before you say anything trans care if backed up by several big medical organizations and a basic google search says that gender and sex is not the same.

You know that cis kids do take puberty blockers? like sometimes puberty comes too early so they have to take them. also puberty blockers are fully reversable, stop taking them and it resumes normally. and hormones are not easy to get at all. and denying your kids the care they need is child abuse And it disturbs me that your acceptance of child abuse is amusing to you.

the language in the first panel of your cartoon is not the grooming/indoctrination language and actions being denounced, such as transvestite story hours, drag shows, media influences, educator influences, etc.

Why does it matter to a young adult trying to "transition" to the opposite gender, many of which profess to have profound psychological issues, if a 5 to 9 year old can jump on their bandwagon and start irreversibly alter their bodies?

Wouldn't you want their parents to first have their psychology examined and find out if the child is expressing the desire to change genders because of outside influences or not?

Why do you believe it would cause harm to the child to require them to wait until they are more mature, at least the age of consent in their state perhaps, before taking steps to forever alter themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally?
