Gonna use it on duke and the moon lord soon

(note that I did it at night because dodging items don't work on her during the day anymore)

Here's what you need for this setup

Full set of hallowed armor

Cross necklace

Star veil

Master ninja gear or just the black belt

And the brain of confusion

(In master mode this leaves you with three accessory slots for some summoner items, because of how the cheese works)

Now, unless you still want to actually fight the boss you can just stop there but I went a little further.

I set up a small box, with honey, three heart statues, and a slime statue connected to a one second timer. I would hit the slime with my vampire knives, and whenever I get hit I'm guaranteed to dodge it, and I'm immune for a few seconds afterward. When I'm not immune and my guaranteed dodge is on cooldown I have a 1/4 chance to dodge attacks, and because of my vampire knives if I do get hit I heal quickly

With all of this I just wait until nighttime and summon the empress of light, I do have a few extra things around my box like spikey ball traps, a heart lantern, campfire, and bast statue. But what I said before was the essential stuff.

And the empress does in about four minutes, keep in mind this is ftw so that's pretty impressive.

Now if you've been paying attention to my posts about my ftw playthrough you're probably wondering: "why is he fighting the empress of light if he's playing melee?"

Well, to put it simply...

I just want the light pet.

Golem is a pain in the a** on ftw so I'd rather not farm it and just get the empress one.

And yes, I do acknowledge the moon lord drops one but I'd rather not have to fight an Eldritch god on steroids for a light pet.
