Well-regulated militia. You seem to keep forgetting that part.

You haven’t any clue as to the meaning of a “well-regulated” militia, do you?

.....neither of those words have a particularly obscure meaning.

Then explain what was meant by “a well-regulated” militia.
That is, instead skirting the question with a snarky dodge.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Let me break it down for you. Because a well regulated militia is necessary…

“the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

“the right”

“of the people”

…shall not be infringed.

So it's Constitutional to regulate them well?

Thanks, that's all we needed confirmed. Let's get to it, then!

No. That proves with out a doubt that you do NOT know what the Framers meant by “well-regulated”…just as we all knew.

They meant to regulate it, well.

‘Well-regulated’ in the 18th century tended to be something like well-organized, well-armed, well-disciplined. It didn’t mean ‘regulation’ in the sense that we use it now, in that it’s not about the regulatory state.

Ok. Now could you please quote the text of Article 1 Section 8 Clause 16.1 of the Constitution? Just copy and paste it onto the comment just to show every body

That had to with us not having a standing army.
What you know about any and everything would fit in a thimble.

You know what? Fine. I'll do it.

The Constitution explicitly gives Congress the power to regulate and discipline the Militia.

EVEN BY YOUR REVISIONIST INTERPRETATION OF THE WORD, discipline of the Militia is still up under Congress' power.

This was in the Constitution before the Second Amendment was ever written. And to boot, the Second Amendment adds that Congress should do it well.

Again, no.
You don’t know what you are talking about

Um, those aren't anti's words.
Article 1 Section 8 Clause 16.1 of the Constitution comes from Article 1 Section 8 Clause 16.1 of the Constitution. The US Constitution.

"Disciplining" has to do with training, not taking their guns away from the people. If you were in the military at any point you'd know what it means.
4 ups, 2y
Again, you are just posting an image of words that you know very little about.

That had to do with the Federal government not having a standing army. You notice the part about “reserving to the States”. It was a provision to muster an army in the event that one was needed to defend from foreign attacks and such.

No.
