Real talk as a Marxist, I absolutely despise it whenever one of y’all refer to a democrat as a “Cultural Marxist”. Literally they’re the same as you conservatives except they embrace rainbow capitalism as a “solution” to oppression toward marginalized groups while y’all either don’t see it as a problem or even fully embrace it. Plus the Democratic Party is inherently right-wing. Maybe not to your barebones standard of what classifies as progressivism, but they definitely classify as right-wing if you don’t move the goalposts.
