To make a long story short, this website just doesn't make me happy anymore. In fact, in the two weeks I took away I felt pretty nice without worrying about it. I've been here for 2 years and watched this place deteriorate, watched the people I stayed for fade away. I don't find anything here anymore besides a sea of mediocre at best memes.

I'm sorry but by now this community is just.. bad? at least for me it is.
I wanted to write a short essay as a goodbye message but I can't. There's just not a soul anymore and I don't know why I would anymore. I feel an odd sense of unattached guilt, even though there's only maybe 3 people here I'd feel it for. I'm sure those people know who they are so- silent shoutout to yall?

I won't delete my account, I won't stay, I guess I'll just check in whenever I remember. Hell, maybe someday I'll come back.

Hey, we can always talk on discord! But yeah, imgflip has been getting boring and more toxic each year, especially with all the antifurs drama and the MSMG users always stirring up trouble.

Sometimes it's nice to take a break once in awhile, perhaps take a hot shower to relieve stress, read a book, watch a movie or two, maybe listen to music.

But whenever you do happen to come back to imgflip, we'll all be waiting ^^
