I don't care much for any girly movies but I do admit the Barbie movie is gonna be a good movie, a lot better than the little mermaid remake. People don't like Halle Berry as Ariel and the movie has dark undertones for a kid's movie. The Barbie movie is however is proving to be very popular, even a lot of grown men are unironically looking forward to this movie. One thing the Barbie movie does right that the little mermaid remake doesn't is cast the right actress. Amy Schumer was originally cast as Barbie but Schumer later declined the role and Margot Robbie was cast, who I think is much better for the role. I really think this movie wouldn't be a success if it weren't for Margot Robbie.
