No one thinks "hey, if we tell everyone they can't bring a gun here, no one will!"

The point of a gun free zone is to criminalize behavior. Specifically, the ability to be able to arrest someone for just standing there with a gun.
Sometimes I wonder if it's meant to "combat gangs" (aka, another thing we can arrest black kids for).
