The problem I have is with the timing. What I mean by that is, if it happened in June, I probably wouldn't have questioned it. But, doing it in the wake of a trans person committing an act of what's arguably considered terrorism, is in bad taste; at the very least it's tone deaf. It's kind of like playing Leaving On A Jet Plane at John Denver's funeral.
