No Guns

Sounds like a great idea. Let's do it...take away guns from everyone. Then when really bad criminals show up to rob, rape or kill you then you can tell them they weren't supposed to have guns.

When you say no guns you mean no civilian guns question
Or do you mean that not even police would have guns?
Or do you mean that no one in the government would have guns?
That our military would be completely disarmed?

The constitution protects the right to bear arms. To ban all guns means that you would strip the rights of law abiding Americans. I have the right to defend myself from a person that is trying to rape or kill me.

Also, there is no possible way to ban all guns. Criminals will still find a way to obtain and use a gun.

That is unconstitutional. Transgender people have the right to self-defense just like everyone else.

We do not have a gun problem. We have a mental health problem, mostly due to the sin that is taking over the world. Treating mental illness will keep crazy people from lashing out at society by shooting up a school, church, shopping center, or bank.

What "sin" is that?

The sins of greed, lust, pride, envy, vanity, and wrath. Rebellion against God's commands and our world's rejection of God is our biggest problem. We refuse to love God and each other. We openly rebel against God's commands, and then wonder why bad things happen.

So you eat Kosher, go to Temple on the Sabbath, celebrate Passover, don't mix fabrics, and don't go to the crapper on Saturday?

You must be confused.
First, I am a Christian. I am not Jewish.
Second, when Jesus died on the cross, He fulfilled the Old Testament laws. In the New Covenant, we are not required to follow the old laws.

Which "gods commands"?

No, it won't.

But not having guns at their disposal will keep "people from lashing out at society by shooting up a school, church, shopping center, or bank" because math.

Banning guns will not fix the root issue. Evil people will find another way to hurt the innocent. Taking guns away from law-abiding Americans will only cause MORE death. Americans have the right to own a gun and the right to self-defense.

The root issue is guns.

The Second Amendment protects the right to get drafted into military service, and at your own expense, as you have to supply your own arms.

Possibly, just possibly, think about the consequences of disarming innocent, law abiding Americans from criminals who will obtain their guns illegally anyways. Those who are evil will still find a way to be evil, so don't take away the protection for the innocent.
