Thats what the album was called. But even if Venom is considered early thrash, I thought death metal was around before death and possessed came out. Like Death Angel or Celtic Frost? I could be wrong. Never got too into speed or death metal. There's so many "metal" genres out there now I get confused. I'm an old school metal guy. 😎
