Yeah, start with the Gospel of John.

By all means, do. I recommend starting with the New Testament. But if you
"openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." - (Rom.10:9 NLT) After that it will make a lot more sense.

You should check out the Bible project. It’s a bunch of videos that overview the books of the Bible in a short interesting way. Even if you’re not a Christian, it can still be pretty interesting

Don’t read revelations until you’ve read the rest or you are a believer. Without context you’ll think we’re a cult

Even if people arent religous, they still read it, its a good read

Do it for salvation

Best book, great for analysts too. But you should pray before reading.
Also, don't start from the beginning, I started with Proverbs.
Psalms audio is great for sleeping and cleansing.
Then the gospel, and genesis. Matthew's gospel is my fav.
