I did the destroyer first because usually it's easy AF but...
You can probably guess what happened.
It's ftw of course it can't just be that easy.
I built a platform using venom dart traps facing down, and boulder statues. On top of that I had the entire top covered in heart statues (I duplicated them) so I can heal throughout the fight even when I'm on potion cooldown. The regular destroyer cheese doesn't require this much preparation
Even then I died 3 times before I beat it.
SOMEHOW it was able to reach my platform making all of the stuff I set up to hit it from above pointless. The heart statues were still pretty helpful though with a heartreach potion
Anyway I eventually beat it after several REALLY close attempts and went onto the twins. (After making the light disc and hallowed armor)
I built a long platform out of asphalt for a speed boost and was somehow able to beat them first try, somehow THE TWINS were easier than the destroyer. It makes no sense.
Anyway I swapped out the blocks of the asphalt platform for dungeon bricks because it was time to fight skeletron. And when I was almost done with it I got a message saying "the air is getting colder around you" meaning he was about to show up.
Unsurprisingly I died to it.
Somewhere in between all of this I got the desert key so I'm gonna have to find that chest too.
