I have no real evidence or sources, I Just...I hate to admit it, but I'm kind of growing on the community. THE GOOD PART. ever since I made this stream with Justin, I've felt more...accepting towards the furrys.

That's what generally happens, with really 𝙖𝙣𝙮 fandom. The longer you spend around them, the more you understand! Unfair stereotypes are shown as false, and you can sympathize (And maybe even empathize a little!) with the people more easily. Glad to hear about your personal growth!

I'm actually good friends with several members of the anti-stream! (A few have left Imgflip, sadly...) Just because we have different interests doesn't mean we can't get along.

As a 10 year old I used to hate furries but as i have grown i have come to realize that they are perfectly harmless. These are the following reasons they are completely harmless. First off, it’s a hobby. It doesn’t matter if it’s cringey, they like it and you should let them be themselves. Second of all, 95% of them just wanna cosplay and love animals! Not all of them are zoophiles and want to f**k a dog. I don’t get why people think they’re “cool” or “based” for bullying people online for a hobby. Thank you for your time.

K, you asked for this. I'm a furry and understand that some of us can be very annoying and cringe, but I don't understand why anti-furries would go agents the entire fandom.
When I joined the fandom it was because I was curios and wanted to understand what they were like. Furries just like every other fandom and people aren't all like our stereotypes, "Being a furry is as normal (and abnormal) as everything else is. This does not mean this is a bad thing (people blatantly misconnect furries as sexual), it's just a little different that what 'normal' (if normal is even as androgynously term anymore) of what we usually see on a day to day basis." (quora.com), as said in this quote we are quite different as I think anti-furries think of us.
As I said I'm not sure why antis think of us the way they do but like with everything else I'm willing to hear and truly consider their side.

Hello! I'm a furry, and I'm happy to be one. I think that though many furries can be... Interesting, some are just fanns of cartoon animals, and not all furries are NSFW. I personally will listen to anti-furries as long as there is no suicide baiting involved, and I don't tolerate zoophiles.

i am a furry, seeing people on imgflip saying they are "crusaders" or "based W" people annoys the f**k out of me. while i can see reasons to hate furries, just hating them ALL for being "all zoophiles" or "all cringe" really pisses me off, like, if you're an anti furry, ok so? stop shoving it up our asses and get a f**king life, or just get REAL reasons to hate furries and not shit like "all furries are zoophiles because a 13 year old said so".

When it comes to furrys I have no actual opinion as a atheist crusader, I think furrys are just people who like animals and cool costumes. I do have a VERY strong opinion on zoophiles and wanting to kill them all. But yeah some furrys are great others suck as people, but in the end I don’t judge people on whether or not their furrys

When I see/meet a furry online, I usually put them in the middle of 'I hate them' and 'their fine'. If they have posted any sus stuff, I move them a little to the left side (I hate them). If they are chill, I'll move them to the right a little (their fine). If they follow the H**y Stream, or any other like it, more to the left. If they support everyone's opinions, more the right. If they do post something nsfw in the horny stream, the bar goes past the 'I hate them' line and I'm considering reporting them to a site mod.

I can't remember the first time I heard about furries, but I remember looking it up as a kid, and boy was I disgusted. My little brain thought all furries were like that, so I kina hated them all them then. As I grew up (and matured), I started seeing both sides of the thing. I'm still a anti-fur now, but only to the ones who deserve it. I also don't side with the furries and anti-furs who keep calling each other kids and to stop. I think people hate furries more because it's a section of humanity who with no regards most of the time post something nsfw of a kid's thing. Sure, people are like that everywhere, but furries is a section of people who are recognized and can be targeted easily.

That makes sense. Before following a user I often look at a few of their posts, what streams they follow, that sort of thing. And you make a good point- Furries aren't the only people that do things like that, but they are a group, which makes them easier to target and hate.

I also like to judge furry like a normal person. If someone tells me he's a furry it's an indication of preference, not if he's a good or bad person.
