I have no real evidence or sources, I Just...I hate to admit it, but I'm kind of growing on the community. THE GOOD PART. ever since I made this stream with Justin, I've felt more...accepting towards the furrys.

That's what generally happens, with really 𝙖𝙣𝙮 fandom. The longer you spend around them, the more you understand! Unfair stereotypes are shown as false, and you can sympathize (And maybe even empathize a little!) with the people more easily. Glad to hear about your personal growth!

K, you asked for this. I'm a furry and understand that some of us can be very annoying and cringe, but I don't understand why anti-furries would go agents the entire fandom.
When I joined the fandom it was because I was curios and wanted to understand what they were like. Furries just like every other fandom and people aren't all like our stereotypes, "Being a furry is as normal (and abnormal) as everything else is. This does not mean this is a bad thing (people blatantly misconnect furries as sexual), it's just a little different that what 'normal' (if normal is even as androgynously term anymore) of what we usually see on a day to day basis." (quora.com), as said in this quote we are quite different as I think anti-furries think of us.
As I said I'm not sure why antis think of us the way they do but like with everything else I'm willing to hear and truly consider their side.

As a 10 year old I used to hate furries but as i have grown i have come to realize that they are perfectly harmless. These are the following reasons they are completely harmless. First off, it’s a hobby. It doesn’t matter if it’s cringey, they like it and you should let them be themselves. Second of all, 95% of them just wanna cosplay and love animals! Not all of them are zoophiles and want to f**k a dog. I don’t get why people think they’re “cool” or “based” for bullying people online for a hobby. Thank you for your time.

Hello! I'm a furry, and I'm happy to be one. I think that though many furries can be... Interesting, some are just fanns of cartoon animals, and not all furries are NSFW. I personally will listen to anti-furries as long as there is no suicide baiting involved, and I don't tolerate zoophiles.

My experience with furries is weird. But in a good way somehow.

I used to played Roblox alot before, and I still play it today, but less (I'm more on Roblox Studio now). One day forsome reason the algorithm recommended me "infectious smile", a PvP infection game where the infected could only smile and know "true happiness", and some more lore.
I loved the game, and ofc all of the internet algorithm started strategying on that.
Got recommended Kaiju Paradise a bit later (another PvP infection game), and guess what ? I loved it too !
I played a LOT on this game, even joined the discord server. The community was welcoming, it was really nice to play and they even made me like role-play (which I'd always despised). Really a good game that I'll recommend to everyone.
The catch ? Well the infected this time was called "gootraxians", but they were basically furries, and even some well know furries sometimes (like protogen). But I didn't really know what a furry was ! I got a vague definition of "cat ears, tail and bad connotation", and that's it...

Then it happened, Google algorithm somehow found out about my Roblox's preferences, and I got recommended on YouTube a let's play of the game "Changed" (if you know this game you know where this is going). I'd watched alot of let's play when I was little, so I was kinda nostalgic and watched it entirely. And WOW, this game that was claimed an "horror game" by the video, but I nearly cried at the end. Yep, I loved it, and I check steam to try it out.

And from there, everything went downhill.

The game was 10 bucks... Well, it wasn't free, sooo I'll have to bring it up to my mom, or find another way. But then I noticed that the average reviews were really low. Intrigued, I checked those reviews to see what's wrong :

"...bro I'm not a furry that was a bet ! ..."
"...too much suggestive scenes why ? ..."
"...this game had a lot of ayo scenes..."
"...really hate this game, it's for furries..."
"...those game over scenes are really disgusting..."

Huh ??!?

Re-checked the video, those guys were right. Suddenly my pov changed (ironic) in a really dark way. Maybe I was too innocent to think about that or smt, but now everything makes sense. I started understanding the concept of furries here, and why Kaiju Paradise says in this description that "this game isn't associated with any other game". The gameplay was clearly inspired by Changed, but there didn't wanted to be associated with them.

Incorrect. I've met one single person who uses "uwu and owo" all the time, and the other, I don't know, 700-ish people I know don't. Most of us are civilized, and most also don't use yiff. However, if someone is old enough, who are you to judge them? You can't dictate what people 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗴𝗲 choose to do with their time. Call it gross, sure. Some disagree, some agree. But to apply a stereotype to all of us, is not only disrespectful, but also unfair to the entire community. You might not use grammar or punctuation, but you'll never see me calling your stream "Illiterate", as again, that's unfair, and disrespectful to all of you.

Most of the Anti-stream is polite (And literate!), and it's actually quite nice to talk with them occasionally, to listen to their views and opinions.

Take the fact that we never raided streams, and never will. We know how it feels, and would never treat someone that way. In fact, that's one of the reason most of us are nice. We've all been harassed, mistreated, or outspoken at some point. I've been threatened to be killed, maimed, shot, and all the works by Anit-furs, and yet I approach you in a respectful, intelligent conversation. If you're set on the mindset that we're all awful people, I can't "Provide you proof", or change your mind. I invite you to see us in a different light, however, the choice is yours.

We can empathize with just about everyone, our experiences are diverse.
