i get what you’re trying to say and the intentions were good but there is a way for everyone to be happy. she could’ve talked to people and asked to help maya feel included. and even if no one helped, she could’ve done something and researched about jewish traditions.

it’s not the christians’ fault it’s a widespread religion, it’s because jewish people nearly got wiped out. instead of resorting to violence, this is the type of thing that can be solved with community.
