Yes, but banning users for such long periods of time just for commenting a profile link is excessive and harsh

Punishment should probably be adjusted, yes. However, people don’t learn at all from their punishments and keep doing it anyway, so blame the ones doing it for escalating it to the current state.

Ok, but where are these reforms for other streams then? For example; hornystream and its users who make secret streams that violate tos. And why are the mods now suddenly buckling down on people seemingly only in msmg? Doesn't really make sense.

Probably because the violation streams are secret and MSMG constantly, and openly harassed users daily.

The violation streams aren't secret to site mods. And granted, yes, msmg does do it openly, but what are the mods and owners doing to help?

I do not know, as I rarely see site mods at all. All I know is that they scrutinize us because our stream probably violates TOS more than nearly any other actual stream, and some users take pride in that. I’m not saying all of MSMG is bad, but boy has it become difficult to control. It’s like Chicago, known almost exclusively for crime, but nice people can and do exist here.

Also, this is looking more and more like an argument, I'm not trying to make it one. I'm just saying, why not deal with the smaller streams first because there are less of them, then gradually start dealing with bigger streams so you would have less to worry about.

Oh no I’m not trying to argue against you, I think you have some seriously valid points. I just think the stream needs to realize it’s issues and work on them before the place becomes completely insufferable to be in.
