There was a proposed retail store in my area where people would use the doctors office like any other service. You just walk in, see the nurse, get your prescription and leave and pay a fixed price.
It was rejected by the medical licencing board enough times until they apparently just gave up on it.
I worked as a freelancer for modular and alternative build companies over the years -- same thing.
You'll never get affordable medicine or housing in America. Either the government stops you or whoever bribes them will.
