i notice a lack of metroidvanias on this list.

you should try checking out a few metroidvanias. looking at what you do have, looks like it might not be your style of game. but still, try checking out a few. i recommend hollow knight. hard but fun game.

I mean I’m open to it. I’ve played games like Dark Souls which is kind of like that (the whole game is one map that you explore).

eh. main reason why metroidvania isnt for everyone is bc its a pretty rageable game genre.
