well i'm gonna have to do a lot of fishing to get hardmode ore anyway so...

(i'm in for the worthy. there's no way i'll survive mining in hardmode.)

Maybe you should try to get the true swords and the death sickle (there's a way to clip through the jungle dungeon door and get the stuff)

I did my own testing using a god character and found out you can't start a solar eclipse in a pre hardmode world.

I took a solar tablet, tried to use it, and nothing happened.

I also tried to spawn golem and that also didn't work
