The government forgot about all those students with private loans, and failed to regulate the interest rates on private student loans. Pluss Student loan forgiveness already exists for federal loan holders. To say anyone making less than 75,000 dollars or 120,000 for couples is brainless, when people who make less than 20,000 have paid their fed loans for years until they realize they can get on a IDR plan.
