This is a painting representing the Battle of Culloden, in Scotland, in 1747. My 4th great grandfather, Angus MacDonald, fought with the Scots in this battle. The Scots lost this battle and the remaining Scottish soldiers were either executed on the spot or were tried for treason. Angus MacDonald was tried for treason and sold into slavery (not indentured servitude) and sent to America. What I want to know is where do I sign up to get my reparation check?
