Part 2: the Truth Revealed

Inside the crate were some sort of explosives. Candystripe picked one up and read the label. Most of the ingredients were gibberish to her, but one stood out that she did recognize: kryblon.

Candystripe gasped. She had heard of that element before from the Dark Elves. Kryblon was an extremely explosive liquid, with the power to destroy an entire universe.

Things began to fall into place. Gingerfox mentioned that her universe had exploded.

What if she had blown it up herself?

Candystripe stormed into the spare room that Gingerfox was staying in. The fox was sitting on the bed.

Candystripe: you blew up your own universe, didn't you?
Gingerfox: well aren't you clever, girl?
CS: why would you blow up your own universe?
GF: it was like a power move, kinda. I told everyone they should make the ruler of that universe. But they were all like, "LOL XD why would we do that." So I destroyed that universe and was like, "see ya!" And then I ended up here.
CS: are you gonna do the same thing to this universe?
GF: maybs, if you all don't like, let me rule here.

Candystripe suddenly had an idea.

CS: I challenge you to a race! My Candy Crane vs your Gingerwing.
GF: ooh! Races are, like, my jazz.
CS: there are some conditions though. If I win, you have to leave this universe alone forever.
GF: but s'ppose I win?
CS: *takes a deep breath* Then you can do whatever you want to this universe.

Gingerfox considered this proposition for a second. Then she said:

"You've got a deal, girl."
