Moths have something called a proboscis, with is a little tube on their face that they use to drink nectar which they use as food.

Once moths are adults, they only mate and usually die soon after. They don't really need many nutrients, which makes just drinking nectar sufficient. Fun fact, some moths will even drink blood if they need to.
