Don't be duped by green deal claims. The country won't be better or safer.

Heavier vehicles consumer more rubber in tires and degrade petroleum based asphalt roads faster. That was never factored into the equation.

Neither was the environmental toll of extracting heavy metals from the earth for batteries that will need to be replaced and disposed of in less than 100,000 miles. The closest thing to a "free ride" in energy is nuclear. Solar sounds nice but it is still an economic loser and suffers the same natural resources mining problem.
