The Enslavement of Eastern Europe

The Enslavement of Eastern Europe | “General George Patton and others lamented that the Second World War had broken out in 1939 over saving the free peoples of Eastern Europe from totalitarianism—only to end, through the broken 1945 Yalta accords, ensuring their enslavement by an erstwhile Soviet ally whose military we had supplied lavishly.” - Victor Davis Hanson, | image tagged in victor davis hanson, politics, wwii, soviet union, patton | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

Patton and I think Eisenhower did want to invade Russia. MacArthur wanted China.

I once asked someone who lives in Poland how weak the Soviet Union was after Hitler was finally taken out. He said the Soviet Union was so weak that it would've taken very little effort to end communism in Russia for good.
