Snow in Hawaii

The snowpack in the Sierra Mountains of California is well over 200% of normal.

But that is weather cycles.

In Hawaii "it snows here every year, but only at the very summits of our three tallest volcanoes (Mauna Loa, Mauna Kea and Haleakala)."
