I don't know about black owned businesses but I can tell you the businesses in general...
More than 1,500 businesses in the Twin Cities were damaged or destroyed between May 24 and June 16 of last year during the unrest following Floyd’s murder, according to a state House of Representatives daily session report published in February.
That's just in Minneapolis, and they had some riots.
More than 93% of the BLM protests have been peaceful, to which there was 7,750 Black Lives Matter demonstrations in all 50 states and Washington D.C. that took place in the wake of George Floyd’s death between May 26 and August 22.
That's no more than 543 protests that ended up riots, which may sound like more than the one from Jan 6 but trust me, there was way more than 7,000 peaceful protests in America during the BLM protest times.
