The so called "pay gap" doesn't adjust for what jobs people do.
If you adjust for that, women get paid much more than men. The 75 cents on the dollar bullshit was based on total USA male pay vs total USA female pay, NOT a male and a female doing the same job.
If you compare pay based on identical job: women make significantly more than men. Plus since they are a protected class they have much better job security since they cannot be fired for incompetence like men can be. (Women could sue.)
Think. For. Yourself.

Also, did you know that 48% of working women have said that they have experienced sexual harassment at work? And yet only 3% to 6% have been passed into court? Did you know that female CEOs are 45% more likely to get fired? And that they are 30% less likely to get hired in the first place? Really makes you think, doesn't it? 🧐

Hmm didn't know that but that makes my meme stand even more

When men get sexually harassed, they can't do anything about it, because they'd get laughted outta court.
So no, women don't get harrassed more, they just talk about it more since they can sue the company over it...

"For men and women who performed the same job in the U.S., men out-earned women by 14%"

Same 'level,' is more like it.
For example, they categorized waitress at the same level as plumber, and cited that plumbers make more. Except plumbing takes much more years in learning and experience than writing food names on a pad, which takes seconds. Also, fixing a busted toilet is more of an essential than someone writing down "Chef's salad."

If we compare wages of individual jobs, women get paid more per hour than men, in the USA.
All the studies you use refuse to differentiate between jobs in the same field requiring differing skill sets and experience levels.
Your studies will claim that a male construction worker makes 25 dollars on average compared to 20 for a female. But it won't mention that the woman is a flag holder derecting traffic with no experience and the man is a heavy equipment driver with a decade of heavy equipment experience.
Feminist ideology requires females to always be the victim so they can beg the government for freebies. Meanwhile IRL a women doing the same job with the same level of experience and productivity is already making much more than a man.
Obviously this may not be a case in your country...

There was a case in the late 80s of a fire dept that got sued to hire women. So they did, hiring two involved in the suit. Then the women requested less strenuous jobs, claiming they lacked the strength and endurance to carry them hoses and run in burning buildings and carryi out people like the men did. The dept ended up firing two senior firemen to provide the slots for the women as those jobs typically went to firefighters whose years of wear and tear at work made things more difficult.

Apparently in Australia, it is illegal to discriminate pay based on gender. This law is called the Fair Work Act 2009, where it protects employees from being discriminated against based on their sex, race, caring responsibilities, pregnancy, religion, political opinion and more.

But, it is not the same thing as the gender pay gap.

Do you even remember that once upon a time women weren't even allowed to work in certain jobs?

When was that? Was that within your lifetime?
It wasn't? So you're backing up your incorrect "pay gap" story with a reference to the 1890's?

In Australia, it became illegal to not even hire women because of their gender through the sex discrimination act 1984

And that has what to do with the imaginary pay gap?

But this was a stepping stone before a pay gap even existed

You don't need to replace women from men, it should be balanced. But what we're concerned is that not enough women are doing science and technology jobs.

Because not enough women WANT to do science and technology jobs. And why does it have to be a 50/50 split anyway? I want the best of the best performing my surgery or drilling for oil regardless of what’s in between their legs, not a diversity hire because muh fake wage gap.

But why don't women want to do science and technology though?

wage gap is real, and it exists cause women generally don't want the stress and whatever that comes with the higher paying jobs. Nothing wrong with that. No fixing necessary. Women don't need to be forced into those jobs if they don't want.

I guess so, but the best we can do is to campaign for women to do these high paying jobs. Leftists may say that there has to be a spot on the board for at least one woman, but I believe there should be individual choice. Blue collar jobs are a great example of high paying jobs with great work life balance despite long hours.
