The thing is, even certain liberals are beginning to say this. But the more old school liberals realize it's more about class than it is about race, and that populism isn't a dirty word. Most successful uprisings have been populist. Populism can be left wing, can be right wing, socialist, what have you. It's anti elitism. That's why they keep trying to make it synonymous with Nazis, because they want you to fear what they fear.
Populism may not be a good form of government, but it helps with an uprising. It doesn't have to be fascist or demagogue, that's a variation of it, and quite frankly that perverted version was probably perverted by people who had the most to fear from it, so they turned it into controlled opposition.
The same way the corrupt Romans had the most to fear from the early church, so they infiltrated it.
Liberal vs conservative was what people's politics were 10 years ago. That's secondary. Now it's about humanity vs elites, freedom vs oligarchy. That's the first fight. Some people realize that Trump Derangement Syndrome just made people turn off their brain out of fear, and anytime the government wanted you to hate something, they associated it with Trump, even if it originated from old school hippies.
You can hate Putin but Russia gate was used to undermine public discourse, to start ww3 with a nuclear superpower, censor people, and work with Nazis. You can hate Trump, but Trump Derangement Syndrome was used to turn off our brains out of fear. You can hate racism but cancel culture was about silencing opposition and destroying competition to the oligarchs in Hollywood.
It can make you sick, but the good news is that people are waking up. The future is ours. If we weren't so powerful, they wouldn't try to silence us. So roll with the punches, plant seeds where you can, and prepare for a new age where we leave all this behind. Make sure you're ready for it.
Not everybody can be saved, but some might wake up before it's too late.
