But if that were the case almost nothing would make sense any more, I know having a multiverse can be complicated but fitting all of that in one universe is even worse.

If we sealed off the multiverse, we could cause a catastrophic event that basically erases hundreds of millions of beings, including me, from the canon-verse. Thus, we should keep the multiverse for the sake of nearly countless lives.
