This I disagree with. Have you ever realized that both political affiliations seems to think that they haven't an impact. The liberals? "Oh, there's so much hate in the world!" So many more people are coming out then they were decades ago. And the conservatives, with the claim that "gay agendas are being pushed," and that "the nuclear American family is being torn apart." Many families are still together, and there have been some very successful series with gay people in them. Neither are entirely wrong, but neither are also entirely right.
So you might call me a "homophobe" (really, the correct term should be "homonegatist"), but I at least agree in that some (not ALL) of instances of gay people existing in media is from an agenda being pushed. That is, where the entire film is obviously centered around unnecessarily homosexual relationships that have no relation to the plotline and ruin the quality of the story.
