Eggyhead, Collector, Inkmatas, and Redi were playing Smash Bros, when all of a sudden, Eggy fell to the floor, howling in pain. Everyone was alarmed and immediately checked to make sure he was okay. Eggyheads shell started to crack, until it eventually shattered. Everyone was in shock, they thought they had witnessed Eggyhead die, when suddenly the shell remnants started rustling. A small bird popped out of the remains, with the same hat as Eggy. It didn't take long for the group to realize what had happened, when: "Guys? what happened? Why is everyone so big?"
the bird spoke.

I: Eggy? Is that you?
E: Yeah, but I'm now apparently a bird.
C: *phew* Good to see you're okay.
R: what happened to you?
E: no idea.
I: what now?
E: we gotta tell Omeletta.

As the 4 left to inform Omeletta of the news, a conversation was struck up.

C: Soooooo, do you wanna stay like this?
E: Nope. I don't wanna be so frail and weak.
C: Okay, I'll try to figure out a way to turn you back to normal.
E: Sweet!
C: One problem. It'll take a few weeks.
E: Crap!

later...

E: *perched on Inkmatas shoulder*
I: *tries to pet Eggy*
E: No! *leans away*
I: Awwwwwwww, why not?
E: well... *whispers* petting a bird makes them feel attraction.
I: Oh! thank goodness I didn't then.

After an hour, the 4 arrived at Eggys house. Omeletta let them in, and asked 2 questions: 1. "Where's Eggy?" and 2. "Who's that little bird you got there?"

I: This is Eggy. He hatched.
E: Hi Omi.
O: huh?! Us Eggs don't hatch!
C: Actually, Eggy and I read in some old Egg writings, that some Egg Gods did hatch, but they were normally way bigger than this.
O: Hmmm... I see. Well how do we turn him back?
C: I can use the crystal, but it'll take a few weeks.
O: That's good, but what until then?
C: He'll have to live as a bird.
R: Guess that means no Smash Bros for the next few weeks.
E: aw man!

Eggyhead learned, and after a few days, he adjusted to being a bird, he even liked it a bit!

E: *sitting on Omelettas finger*
O: *pets Eggy*
E: Hey! you know that-
O: *still petting* Yes I know what a bird feels when they get pat on the head.
E: *blushes a bit*
O: *kisses Eggy on the head*

The next day...

E: BaconCat, please stop trying to eat meeeee!
BC: Mew, mew meow! meow! (mew) - translation: Oh come on, I'm just having a bit of harmless fun! I won't hurt you! (much)
E: Noooooooo!
O: *sprays BaconCat with water* Hey! What have I told you about trying to eat Eggy!
BC: ...Mew. - ...To not do it.
O: Say you're sorry!
BC: Meow... - I'm sorry...
O: Good girl.
BC: *wraps around Eggy*
E: awwwwwww

Eventually, The Collector figured out how to turn birds back into eggs, and went to Eggyhead and Omelettas house. Collector knocked on the door, but nobody answered. He knocked again and waited a few minutes. Nobody answered. Eventually, Collector broke down the door and entered the house. He found Eggy in the kitchen, pecking at a pile of bread crumbs.

C: Hey Eggy.
E: Oh, hey.
C: *lifts finger sideways* why'd nobody open the door?
E: *flys to Collector and perches on his finger* well... about that...
C: Whatever, I wanted to tell you that I figured out how to turn you back.
E: Great! just one thing.
C: Yeah?
E: lift your other finger.
C: okay? *lifts other finger sideways*

Another small bird, bigger, but similar to Eggy flew down and perched on Collectors finger. It was Omeletta.

C: you hatched too?!
O: yep.
C: well, it doesn't matter. I've figured out how to turn you both back to normal.
O: Yesssssss!
E: Aw, I was starting to like being a bird. Oh well, it'll be nice to get back to normal.
C: Ready?
O and E: yep!

There was a large POOF and Eggyhead and Omeletta were restored back to their normal forms. Eggy and Omeletta immediately kissed and then thanked Collector.

C: Just one thing.
E and O: yes?
C: I made it to where you can change back and forth whenever you want!
E: yay!
O: nice!
