There are submissions which are definitely dark humour which I will approve.

Then there are submissions that are more suitable in the Fun stream which I mark as 'Wrong Stream'

There are submissions that I have absolutely no idea what they are - Those I leave to let other moderators decide. maybe these are the dumbass ones

Dark or Offensive ... A real tricky one .. It is subjective ...
As in the comments below, This stream is not for the easily offended....
The same applies to those submissions of a sexual nature ... there is always the option to make as nsfw

Why is there barely any separation between dark and offensive humor here?
I understand that this is supposed to be dark, and some of it is offensive because of that, but I've also seen posts here that were just meant to be offensive, and when I flag them stating that, they are almost never disapproved
Idk if you're the person to go to about this, but can I have a bit of an explanation about this?

First of all, could you give me some examples of things that have been offensive? I’ve been putting in more rules lately like “no excessive racism”, it’s fine if it’s a joke but sometimes it can get a bit too serious. There’s also people like Pottingshedpete, who no offense if they are seeing they, but they post weird memes.

"Dark Humor" is indeed a difficult concept to get one`s head around, but it serves a much greater purpose than merely to shock. Individual artists are surrounded by the darker forces of Wokism in all they do - an intollerable situation bordering on complete Social Censorship. Our "Dark Humour" stream, stands as a beacon in this bleak landscape, but many other media outlets are also discovering the usefulness of taking humor "Beyond the Pale". ...We should in fact consider dark humor as having a social purpose in breaking down the ersatz rules currently governing our Social and Working Lives ! (I myself, see this pioneering stream as being part of a World-wide praetorian guard re-establishing artistic freedoms.) SO, I say to you `Iceu` - I note your comments, but will continue to be weird. My understanding of this stream is that it's basically for anything dark and/or "cancellable". That's why there is barely any separation between dark and offensive humor here.

If mods or you or whoever decide to draw a line about what is "too offensive", that line will probably try to be moved.

It sounds like you're saying bullying/suicide and racism is over the line. I've seen plenty of others who would say 9/11 jokes are also over the line. I'm sure there are those who would say rape jokes are over the line. What makes one person's claim to what is too offensive more valid than another? If they are all equally valid, where does it end...? Pretty soon this becomes just another Fun stream.

Idk. I don't care about "offensive" stuff much but I don't think political stuff belongs here. In the same way that there's already a Fun stream, there is also already a Politics stream.

We make sure to disapprove any political image of any sort, you’re right when you say this isn’t the politics stream.

Some political memes seem to slip through the cracks here sometimes. I saw a Greta meme here about petroleum based lube a few days ago that to me seemed somewhere between dark and politics.... I guess it was more sexual than political. And maybe it wouldn't have gotten approved in politics because of that but idk... maybe it would. Seems there's been plenty of overtly sexual Kamala Harris memes there.

I haven't seen many flags about it so other mods may have ignored it.
If you can link me any so-called "dark" posts but attack a specific someone or group, I'll disapprove it.
