You see, this is why breath of the wild was such a huge success, it had a huge map, and there was stuff to do in it
There were shrines, quests, and puzzles everywhere, sure the enemies get a little repetitive since it's mainly stronger versions of what you've already seen but STILL there was always something new to find or see or do
And then there's the glitches, while unintentional, can make the game EVEN MORE fun
And then there's sonic frontiers, while yes it has huge maps it doesn't have much to do in them
Sure there's the equivalent of shrines (cyber portals) but they're just regular sonic levels, stuff we've already seen a million times. And sure you could argue that there is SOME stuff in the open world like the parkour things that give you a way to obtain memory tokens, but that's all they do. There's almost no use to them. However I won't say frontiers is a bad game because of it.
That's why (in my opinion) botw is a masterpiece, and frontiers is... Ok at best.
