I imagine the world seems quite hostile to someone who is on the spectrum and also trans. It would make sense for them to hold such hostility and disregard for a specific demographic who belives that 1) Trans is essentially a sin and 2) that ASD can be cured through the power of what scientifically amounts to make believe people.
