It’s better to accept mortality than to fight it, to realize we’re all temporary. All the more reason to make life better for others while you can, to leave a legacy. To have people 20 years after you die still affected positively by your actions today. Whether that’d be being a parent, creating foundations, or simply doing the best you can to serve others, it's what we should do. We should strive to be more like Fred Rogers, Steve Irwin, or Padre Pio and less like the nihilistic criminals that plague American cities.
