Darkness Falls Across The Land ...

I didn’t know that.
I saw the total eclipse a few years ago and it lasted two and a half minutes. And for that, we had to put ourselves dead center of the path. Two and a half minutes goes by awful quick! I can’t imagine having 74 minutes! :-)

I can remember a partial eclipse over 20 years ago and standing in the carpark od where I worked with all the local office workers and sharing welding masks to see it ! :~)

We used to make the shadow projectors to view it back in the day. Since the total eclipse was going to be about 10 hours away, we figured we’d try to see it. We took several days to get there driving along a scenic mountain route to make it more interesting. After the eclipse, the 10 hour drive became a 20 something hour nightmare with all the traffic!
Still worth it though :-)
